The Pumpkin Patch

Today I went with Kayley on her school field trip to the pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun!
Going through the corn maze.
Taking lots of pictures.
Playing! (This was our little group of 4.)
Visiting the animals.
Trying to find the perfect pumpkin (but it wasn't this one)!
On the bus with the perfect pumpkin!
Thanks for the FUN day Kayley!

TAGGED AGAIN!

So I have been personally tagged again! This makes 3 tags in less than a month! Here goes:

Guilty Pleasures
(these are in no specific order)
1. Blogging
2. Scrap booking on the computer
3. Being on the computer in general (NOT getting other, more important stuff done) : )
4. Harper's Homemade white bread (warmed up with butter), sorry to those not living in Utah or Idaho (I think that's the only place you can get it?)
5. Chips and dip (I like SALT, sometimes I think I like it more that sugar, only sometimes)
6. Chocolate (carmel brownies, chocolate chocolate chip cake, candy, you get the idea!)
7. Ice Cream (we just came across Dreyer's Slow Churned Light Ice Cream, it's 1/2 the fat and 1/3 fewer calories, and I would never ever guess that!)
8. NOT cleaning the house
9. Going to bed way too late
10. Sleeping in (when I can)

Sky Racer!

For Activity Days, Moriah had a Father-Daughter activity:
Dads and Dames Pinewood Derby!
It was LOTS of fun.

Moriah drew out her design, did the fine sanding
and painted it (with Mom's help).
I helped with cutting, rough sanding, the final coat of paint
and some special secret tips for the axles
from Uncle Troy (thanks bro!).
On Saturday, Moriah and I put the finishing touches on the car:
Cloud stickers and such.
She really liked the stickers that said:
"Just me and my Dad"
and
"So BIG! So FAST!"
Last night was the big race.
There were lots of cool looking cars including a designer high-heel shoe (Coyne's), an 'i-car' (Lindsey's), and a double decker bus (Green's).
Here is Moriah with her
#1 Sky Racer:

Moriah did very well (never lost a race!)

Any guesses why she calls it Sky Racer?

Addicted to Backgrounds...

So Tammy heard a rumor that she could create her
own backgrounds for blogs and asked me about it.
We did a little research (see links at bottom of blog) and
VOILA!
We learned how to make our own backgrounds.
Tammy used The Print Shop program we have
along with some online resources from Shabby Princess
to create both the background and the personalized header.
Then she did another one (with the personalized header)
for our extended family blog as well.
Since that time all she can talk about is how
she is going to it for this season and that season...
I frequently find her browsing the Internet now
searching scrapbook sites for new material
for her next creation.
I am fairly convinced she is addicted to backgrounds now.
I had no idea she had such an addictive personality...
time to hide the Tylenol!
Ha Ha!

Funny Man JACOB

We got out our Fall decorations and came across this turkey (we haven't seen it for at least 2 years, I don't know if Kayley even recognised it). Jacob thinks it is pretty fun. Kayley and I were enjoying watching him play with it this morning and got out the camera. He is pretty FUNNY with it! Enjoy the video!

Gloria and Patches go to Doggie School

So we stared training Gloria and Patches. We are taking an 8 week course at Pets Mart. We all went to this first class and learned some good tips. I think the girls had fun with their dogs.

Kayley's Last Soccer Game

Go Kayley, # 11
Kayley had a BLAST playing soccer for the FIRST time. She is excited to play again, and to move on to the next sport! She is quiet the little athlete! Way to go Kayley!
