Willard Bay State Park

Father's Day Weekend we took a little trip to Willard Bay. We had such a good time. Mark's younger brother and his family met up with us for the weekend. The kids had so much fun playing in the sand and water.

Kayley's rock collection

Moriah REALLY enjoyed playing in the SAND for MOST of the day. Pictured below is a water whole she dug up and filled up. So many little kids were in there playing.

(This one's for you mom!)

Everyone LOVED these water squirters!

Enjoying the SEADOO

Mark, getting in a ride by himself, but just one. Kayley would have loved to have been on that thing the entire time! Just one small break to get warm and she was back out.
After a FULL day on the water we headed to our hotel, then to BBQ with Uncle Tyler's family at their campsite.

The next day we said goodbye to Uncle Tyler's family and headed to the hotel pool. We all enjoyed swimming and then got ready to go home. It rained just about the entire way home. We had perfect weather for our day out on the water thanks to Mark watching the weather and making last minuet changes with our seadoo reservations!

First 2 Weeks Of Summer

Yesterday Mark ran his FIRST Marathon.
We loved the saying on the shirt they gave him:
The kids and I were able to meet up with Mark a couple of times to cheer him on. The kids enjoyed running along side of him and giving him water!

The girls wanted to cross the finish line with Daddy, too bad I wasn't quick enough to get the picture. This is them getting close.

Jacob loves to BAKE!
Last week Mark had to load up on the carbs so Jacob got to help make bread sticks a couple of times. Today when I asked him if he wanted to help me make bread, he said, "No, make cookies" he likes to help make those as well.

A Day at The Zoo

Swimming Lessons
I signed the girls up for swimming lessons as soon as school got out and decided it would be easier for me to sign Jacob up for a mommy and me class than to try to deal with him while the girls swam and he didn't. Every morning he was so excited to get out of bed and get ready for swim lessons. He was even more excited to get out of the car and hurry into the building. He had a fabulous time in the water, and the girls did too.

The LAST day of school
Kayley had been asking and asking to ride her bike to school (even though it takes longer for her to get out her bike than it does to just walk out our back gate). So on her last day she said to me, very upset, that she would never get the chance again to ride her bike to school. I said fine.
I didn't get a very good picture but that is Moriah walking and Kayley riding her bike just ahead.
Kayley with her Kindergarten teacher.
Moriah wanted a picture on PRIDE ROCK, then Kayley did too.
Moriah in front of the school and with her 4th grade teacher.
The kids had a great year. I was kind of sad to see the school year end. Probably because of all the change that will shortly follow. Kayley moving from a half day of Kindergarten to a full day of 1st grade, is big. Knowing Moriah will attend 5th grade and then move on to middle school, is a bit overwhelming. The kids are all growing up TOO stinking fast, and there is nothing I can do about it, but as my mom would say, enjoy the temporary!
