Our 100th Post!

I have a good friend who posted 100 Things about herself quite a while back and I thought it was lots of fun. So for our 100th post I wanted to see if we could think of 100 fun things about our family. It is rather long but some of them are pretty funny...at least to us! (you may want to break this up over a couple of days! ha ha!).

Here they are...100 things about us:

.We met and became good friends partway through Senior Year in High School.
.Mark went to Osorno, Chile on his mission.
.We got engaged on our 3rd date after Mark came home!
.Tammy wanted an August wedding and so the engagement was only a little over 2 months!
.Tammy worked at Boston Market but Mark’s KFC family loves her anyway!
.On our first date we talked about how many kids we want (crazy I know!)
.Mark was an international folk dancer (where Tammy says during a performance he wore more make-up than she does!)
.During our first year of marriage Tammy ROCKED at her telemarketing job at Convergys where she scored various prized like gift certificates!
.Tammy has HUGE babies: 8#15oz; 9#12oz; 10#9oz!!! (we are hoping this next one doesn’t continue the upward trend!!!)
.Tammy’s favorite color is Purple (Mark can never decide on a favorite color)
.Mark has been to 4 countries outside of the US (Tammy has been to 2…bet you can guess which 2)
.Kayley’s current favorite color is Black (why does that worry me?)
.After we were married for just over 2 yrs, we lived with Mark’s parents for 4 ½ years (and loved it!)
.During that time, Mark commuted about 3 hours a day! (and now loves being <10minutes from work)
.We do monthly extended family birthday parties with Mark’s local siblings
.One of our favorite vacations was to Bear Lake
.We have had over 10 people (not all at once) move in to live with us for extended periods of time.
.We both have a funny habit of creating tons of nicknames. For example:
.Jacob: Jake, Jakers, Jacobo, Jaques (like hawks), Jacobito (little jacob), Bito, Bitty-boy, Little man which then became MANnaise (Mayonnaise), JJ…
.Kayley: Kays, K-Kay, Faith (middle name), Faith-a-rama a San Francisco treat (don’t ask), Kayley-Cake…
.Moriah: Miah, Riah, MyMy, Miah-leigh, Mryer’s Icecream (as in Dryer’s)…
.Even our dogs have gotten in on the action: Patches has become “Fatches”
.Our first movie together was “I.Q.”
.When Mark asked Tammy to marry him, her little sister Rachel was in the room (although she was quickly pushed out!)
.Our first kiss didn’t happen until after Tammy said “YES” to #24 (and after she pushed Rach out of the room!)

.Mark had Hip Dysplasia (hips not fully formed/connected) when he was born and had to be in a half body cast and then a brace till he was a toddler!
.Tammy had to babysit after Moriah was born while Mark went to school.
.It helped him graduate BYU debt free.
.It also made her HATE babysitting. Seriously. She does not like to do it and she does not like asking others to babysit her kids! (yet she still babysits plenty and makes the best of it)
