Got Milk??

Most kids Jacob's age like milk...he may take it to the extreme. I asked Kayley to get him his milk and this is how it played out:
Jacob: I love playing in the kitchen...it makes me feel manly!
Ohhh. Did my sister bring me milk?
Two milks! How exciting!
Give me! Give Me!
I love milk. I do! I do!
I will stash my milk in my secret place - the plastic microwave...
after 1 more little swig. :)
Oh no! They caught me! What to do? What to do?...
RUN FOR IT!

Milk. It does a body good. Two milks...twice as good for Jakers!

A Few Firsts for KAYLEY

Today was the FIRST day of KINDERGARTEN for Kayley. I got to go to school with her for about a 1/2 hour (thanks Jackee for watching Jacob). Kayley was excited to be there with her friends. She had no problem when it was time for me to go. I was so HAPPY! After school I walked across the grass to pick her up (they just cut the fence last week, so we can get to the school that way, yea). Moriah had already got her so the 4 of us (Jacob too) walked home!
(Pictured is Kayley's self portrate doll we worked on before she went to school today, Kayley and I had lots of fun shopping for stuff and then putting it all togehter, notice the matching outfits. I coppied her t-shirt and then shrank the picture of the horse, so that her doll's shirt would have a matching horse. Like I said, WE had FUN!)

More pictures from our deck (too bad the fence is in the way).

Soccer
Last week was Kayley's (#11) FIRST soccer game. All I can say is that SHE is a NAUTURAL! She scored 5 of the 8 goals, and yes her team did WIN. Kayley had a blast, and had fun being on the same team as her cousin, Jordan and some friends from church.

(jumping for joy when she scored!)

The weekend

A Trip to the VET
On Saturday Gloria and Patches had their first visit to the Doctors. They had to get their shots. Moriah was concerned how they would do getting so many shots, she thought she might have to leave the room (like she did when Jacob got his shots) but EVERYONE did great.

Grandma & Grandpa
Grandma and Grandpa were out in Utah this past weekend. We enjoyed visiting with them! The kids and I went and ran some errands with Grandma (it was just like old times when we lived in California with them). When Mark got off work and joined us, he took the kids swimming in the hotel pool (where Grandma and Grandpa were staying) the kids enjoyed the water. Jacob was in and out of the pool, he loved it!

Kayley and Gloria

I thought this was so sweet. You can't hear Kayley very well because of the wind and her soft voice, but she is singing to Gloria and rubbing her nose (I am pretty sure she had her sleeping, before Patches came over). Kayley definitely favors Gloria, I keep telling her she needs to play with Patches too.

Moriah's First Soccer Game

Moriah (#9) had her first soccer game tonight (she hasn't played since Kindergarten). She said she had fun, she played hard (lots of RUNNING) and did a GREAT JOB. Unfortunately her team lost. Better luck next time Moriah.

Moriah's First Day of the 4th Grade!

School started today. Kayley, Jacob and I walked Moriah around the corner to school. We got to see Jackee and some of the kids. (I think Ashlee and Moriah are right next door to each other.) It is FUN being at the same school with our cousins this year.

These are some pictures I took from our deck. I love having the school right behind our house. Moriah was easy for me to spot with her all blue outfit. The zoom on our camera was helpful to, helping me to confirm that it really was her.

After we got home, Kayley wanted to play with her cousin Jordan.
They are excited for their first SOCCER GAME this Thursday!

Our 10th Anniversary

So a lot of our friends have been posting about their anniversaries so I thought I would too. We celebrated 10 years. WOW! It seems like we were married just yesterday and yet it seems like we have been together, well forever. We went out to dinner the day after (Mark was covering for the Residency on the 15th). Dinner was nice, poor Mark was exhausted from working SOOOO much! It was great to just be us, NO KIDS. Anyway on Sunday while I was at my Primary meeting and Mark was taking a nap, Moriah and Kayley made a great big banner for us. They put together a program, where we looked through out wedding album, listened to Kayley sing a song and then watched our wedding video. We have such cute kids!!! It was fun to remember the day a little more with Moriah and Kayley. Thank you girls!
