Our new baby boy was born 7/17 @4:58PM. 7#8oz. 18.5in long.Tammy did great and it happened a lot faster than we thought (she didn't even get started until after 1:30) and she only had to push one and a half times!
The down side is that our poor son didn't get a chance to get all that fluid out of his lungs! So after sucking out a lot right after birth they finally decided to send him to the NICU short term for some Nasal CPAP (pressurized air) to help open up his lungs and force the fluid out. Now he's back rooming with mom and dad and doing fine.
We are still working on the name (and to think I used to make fun of all you who don't have the name picked out before going to the hospital!).
