Golf Anyone???

I have felt somewhat spoiled with all the golf that I have been able to get in recently. Not only when I was down with my parents did my dad and I get in 36 holes over 3 days, but while in Moab at the wilderness life support course, I went 27 holes with my coworkers. It was lots of fun.

I do have to say that I was never more nervous looking for my balls in the rough than at Moab. The cashier did relieve me by saying that she usually only sees bull snakes out there and that rattle snakes are usually only on holes 4 and 14. Besides, she has been there 6 yrs and "no one has been bitten yet!". Either way, I was motivated to keep my ball in the fairway like never before!

Missing the Family! And A LOT of Traveling

We have been doing a lot of traveling recently. Last week we drove down to Vegas and back in one day (kind of) for Tammy's brothers graduation. On Thursday after work we drove to Reno and then the next morning on to Cupertino CA to see my parents. We had lots of fun there (excluding the household stomach flu on Memorial day) and my Dad and I got in 36 holes over 3 days. I golfed much better the last 9 than the 1st 9!

On Tuesday I flew back to Utah and drove down with my coworkers to Moab for an Advance Wilderness Life Support course that goes till Saturday. So now I am missing my family!

Tammy drove down to her families in Fresno while I am gone and is having a blast by the sounds in the background everytime I call!

Can't wait for Sunday when I fly back to California to meet up with them again! Then it is 2 days with my family, 2 with hers and then driving to Vegas for a Women's Health Conference. We will get back the next Sunday only to drive all day Monday again as well as a 3 day trip to Colorado on Thur-Sat for some interviewing!

Not sure what I was thinking packing all this into so short a time!!!

Easily Replaced???

I woke up to play racketball this morning and when I returned

(after losing terribly to Troy),

Sometimes I wonder if they are awake just waiting to hear the garage to close so they can run in and sleep in our bed! Oh well.

Baby Steps

Last week (at 10months and 4 days) Jacob surprised us when he climbed up on his dump truck and used it as a walker!!! Tammy then turned him around (to give him a bigger runway) and he really took off. He's been doing it all the time now: couches, chairs, walls. I am sure it is still going to be a while before he decides he can walk without holding on to something but it has been fun for the girls as you can tell by Kayley's excited screaming in the video!

Catch Up Time

Well, except for putting on Jacob's new pictures we have not stayed very up to date with all that has happend over the course of the month! Here goes an attempt to catch you up on the highlights:


The first week Tammy watched my brother's kids for a few days while he and my sister-in-law
were on a business trip. There was lots going on there.
We had guitar time.
That was lots of fun.








Of course you cannot forget all Of the HOMEWORK that needs to be done with all those school-kids!








We even set up a tent for some of the kids to sleep in. Not only did it serve well for sleeping but playing games, reading time and all
out craziness!

I had forgotten how big it was... it barely fit in the living room!!

Then there was St. Patricks Day! Tammy treated the girls to some GREEN food just for the occasion! Green Chicken made Tammy just a little nauseated so they stayed brown!

And of course there was EASTER! The there was egg and rice-crispy decorating, Easter-egg hunting with the neighborhood and their cousins and all the fun that comes with eating cholcolate easter eggs! Here are some pictures:
